DOGSTIVAL- Full Story

The Full Story

FBM&M were contracted for the first Dogstival event during conception and development. This allowed FBM&M together with Dogstival directors to create a carefully managed plan to accommodate the multiple audio and visual requirements of the show. Consultation with FBM&M at this early stage was key in preventing audio spill or under powered provision for any key areas.

Dogstival’s requirements include: Two picket fenced arenas, a music stage within the food court, a speakers lounge with presentation screen, a large LED screen, a bespoke stage and several vocal reinforcement systems throughout the site. All systems are required to be weatherproof, health and safety compliant and self contained.

Throughout our relationship with Dogsitval, FBM&M have overcome several challenges, examples include: implementing COVID19 safety measures and allocating each presenter/entertainer with separate microphones for the duration of the show, replacing a commentator who was stuck in traffic, assisting with ticketing, repositioning PA systems for last minute changes and managing VIPs. Presenters and performers are not required to share their technical needs in advance so each year is a test of the equipment stock to make sure each person has what they need in the correct place at the correct time.
